Overview

Cadence McShane Construction is looking for a skilled and experienced construction operations professional to join our team as Director of Field of Operations. This role is based out of our Addison, TX headquarters and will provide oversight to all projects under construction in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Your primary responsibilities will include field staff management, scheduling, meeting cost control goals, and ensuring quality of workmanship on each project.

Qualifications

Additional Requirements:

  • At least 10+ years’ of field coordination experience, or relevant commercial construction project experience
  • Must have a proven history of running successful $50mm+ projects with a general contractor and overseeing a total of $300mm+ worth of work
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret contracts, plans, specifications, and scopes of work
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and completing projects within budget
  • Extensive people skills (proven history of working well with all field staff, project managers, subcontractors, owners, and architects)
  • Proven history of collaborating with safety teams to ensure a safety first mindset
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement and recommend classes/steps for continued growth of staff
