Application Engineer, FLSmidth Inc., Midvale, UT: Utilize principles & methods used in complex metallurgical & process analyses to develop process design criteria for mineral Processing plants, including extracting & concentrating mineral values.
Requires minimum of MS in Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field, & 2 years' experience in job offered or any related occupation, to include, 2 years' experience in metallurgical or mineral process engineering; plant commissioning experience in processing plants for bases & precious metals; exposure to different processes & equipment in minerals concentrators (crushing, conveying, grinding, flotation, dewatering, filtering & drying); 2 years' experience compiling operating cost estimates (opex), & 2 years' experience supporting development of capital cost estimation (capex). Experience may have been gained concurrently. Any suitable combo of education, training, & experience will be considered.
