Job Description

Summary

As a Corporate Materials Lab Technician, you will perform testing and analysis of materials in support of technical problem solving, new product development, and process validation in the Corporate Materials Laboratory (CML).

Responsibilities

Safely performs materials testing and accurately enters data into laboratory data base.

Communicates test data to the CML Manger and Materials Scientists.

Performs laboratory testing assigned by the CML Manager.

Cleans and maintains laboratory equipment and sample storage areas.

Participates in safety activities and completes projects to improve lab safety.

Desired Experience

High School diploma or equivalent.

Laboratory experience (school, previous job experience, or experience at CML) is a plus!

 

Essential Skills:

  • Consistently practices safe work habits.
  • Ability to read and follow written work and test procedures.
  • Detail oriented and focused.
  • Comfortable working with power tools and machine shop equipment.
  • Basic skills with Microsoft Office software (specifically MS Excel and MS Word).

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
