Position Summary:The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting the provider with back office duties in the outpatient management of patients and completing or assisting with front office duties. This position is a vital part of the office team that cares for patients in the clinic setting working under the direction of a physician. This position works closely with the physicians, other clinical staff, and front office staff. Work situations are a variety of clinical functions within a clinic setting requiring knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data; discretion; good judgment; diplomacy; decision making; and a customer service attitude. Acting as the patient advocate the Medical Assistant has continuous contact with physicians, patients, patient families/ significant others, community agencies, and MHS patient care staff and management.
Minimum Requirements:One (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred
Education/Licenses/Certifications:Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) Certification
Position Summary: The LPN is a licensed nursing team member working under the direction of a Physician, Advanced Practice Provider, Registered Nurse or designee to provide quality care that is focused on the comfort and well being of the patient and family. The LPN is familiar with the normal stages of growth and development and signs of aging, and is responsible for providing age appropriate care. This position requires a service-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills. For the purpose of delivering and executing daily routine care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups, some independent decision-making is expected in the execution of daily routine duties. The LPN assists the Registered Nurse or care team in implementing the nursing process. Decisions regarding patient care or services require the review and approval of the Registered Nurse. Internal contacts may include patient care staff, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, and other department's staff and management. External contacts include physicians, patients, families, and visitors.
Minimum Requirements: Previous experience as a LPN, preferred
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Current Washington licensure as an LPN
