The Production Associate will be responsible for helping process steel specific to our customer specifications. Duties include but are not limited to moving steel around the plant with a forklift and/or crane, loading/unloading material from machines in a safe timely manner and preparing the material for packaging.

This position requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a desire to perform the duties of Production Associate to the highest standard.

Shift Hours: 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm or rotating 12 hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am)

Required Experience

  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Must understand and follow the quality policy and procedures
  • Competent in math and computer skills
  • Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Possess good problem solving skills, high level of personal accountability and attention to detail
  • Must be able to handle physical work and be able to stand on your feet for 8-hours a day
  • Must be 18 years of age and older
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
