Job Description

Provide technical support as a Systems Analyst for the CNSF Life Cycle Manager (LCM) and C5I In-stallation Manager (IM) for C5I modernization for all CNSF Surface Ships. Responsibilities include supporting the C5I Modernization Process (C5IMP) and Surface Ship/ Aircraft Carrier Modernization Program (SHIPMAIN) by reviewing and conducting analysis of recently developed C5I modernization plans and all legacy systems documents of CG and DDG-class ships within the Naval Data Environ-ment (NDE). Review and analyze government provided fielding plans and proposed ships' baseline changes and ensure that baseline changes meet CNSF mission requirements. Physically track and coordinate all Type Commander (TYCOM) owned Combat Systems and equipment alterations / Alteration Equivalent to Repair (AER) scheduled to be completed and report on a monthly and quarterly basis. Participate and coordinate with CNSP in weekly Fleet C5I planning conferences and monthly Forward Deployed Naval Forces (FDNF) C4I readiness conferences. Track the Quarterly Combat Systems C5I Alteration Installation Team (AIT) message for proper execution and provided status reports and de-conflict all Combat System C5I installations onboard Pacific Fleet ships. Research data and consolidate input for the purpose of developing briefing slides for visiting Pro-spective Commanding Officers (PCO). As directed, represent the Force C5I Modernization Officer and Deputy C5I Modernization Officer at C5I installation-related meetings, rigorous application of the Surface Ship Modernization policies in-cluding Navy Modernization Program and Joint Fleet Commander C5I Modernization Policy, Fleet Commander C5I baseline process, Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM), and thorough knowledge of Navy Data Environment (NDE), the Entitled Process (EP), and Afloat Master Planning System (AMPS). Education: Requires a minimum of 7 years combination of college level education and experience. Must have experience in SURFPAC C5I Shipboard Baseline Management. Must have a current, active Secret security clearance. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, strong computer skills and the ability to work independently meeting deadlines. Review and analyze data, and/or reports to ensure correct format, technical accuracy, and compliance with Navy guidance. Expert use of MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and proficiency using Project. Clearance: Secret SDL2017
