Job Description Job Description A B See Vision Therapy Center seeks a part-time Office Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing specialty practice. We are seeking a medical front office assistant to assist with patient scheduling, customer service and general clerical tasks. In this role, you will also assist with handling doctor correspondence and answering phones. You will scan medical records, compile statistical data and order office supplies. Responsibilities: Assist with front desk customer service duties Schedule patient appointments Answer incoming phone calls Scan medical records Compile patient statistical data Monitor, maintain, and order office supplies and equipment Serve as back-up for the Office Coordinator during times of absence Perform various administrative support activities such as typing correspondence, filing, faxing, mailing, etc. as necessary or assigned Maintain patient confidentiality; adhere to all HIPPA regulations Job Requirements High School diploma Minimum of two (2) years' experience in customer service field Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office High integrity, team player and patient service focus Ability to multi-task effectively Must be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy Must be personable, polite, professional and courteous Must possess great phone etiquette and overall communication skills Training will be provided Company Description A B See Vision Therapy Center maintains a strong commitment to enhancing functional vision.
