Job Description FRONT DESK /RECEPTIONIST CLASSIFICATION: Exempt - Salaried Managerial Position SALARY LEVEL: Median/Experienced REPORTS TO: Company Branch Manager SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The front desk /receptionist performs routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record-keeping. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: · Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages · Collect, count, and disburse money, do basic bookkeeping, and complete banking transactions · Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints · Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities · Complete and mail bills, contracts, policies, invoices, or checks · Complete work schedules, manage calendars, and arrange appointments · Compute, record, and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports · Deliver messages and run errands · Inventory and order materials, supplies, and services · Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer · Make travel arrangements for office personnel · Monitor and direct the work of lower-level clerks · Open, sort, and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail · Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers · Prepare meeting agendas, attend meetings, and record and transcribe minutes · Process and prepare documents, such as business or government forms and expense reports · Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests · Train other staff members to perform work activities, such as using computer applications · Type, format, proofread, and edit correspondence and other documents, from notes or dictating machines, using computers or typewriters COMPETENCIES: · Communication proficiency · Ethical Conduct · Flexibility · Initiative · Time Management REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: · Degree in business, science or other related discipline and related experience, preferred (not required). · Graduation from high school or GED equivalent with specialized course work in general office practices such as typing, filing, accounting and bookkeeping. · At least one year of experience in industry business operations and/or management COMPENSATION: $10 hr - $12/hr

Job Description take orders from supervisors to determine which truck and areas have been assigned for garbage pickup tasks. • Assist garbage truck drivers in mapping proper routes using either the GPS or standard maps. • Navigate short and safe ways to destinations, ensuring that timeliness is kept a priority. • Empty trash cans into the garbage truck, ensuring that all receptacles are placed back in their proper areas. • Ascertain that no garbage container block the main entrance to the house, or porches and mailboxes. • Navigate way to the garbage disposal areas, assigned by supervisors, and ensure that garbage correctly puts away. • Provide customers with information and education on proper methods and techniques to handle garbage disposal. • Ascertain that proper safety gear is donned, to avoid sicknesses and contamination. • Create and maintain effective liaison with dispatch team, providing status updates throughout the day. • Work with supervisors to provide on the job training to newly hired garbage truck helpers, as part of their training initiatives.
