Old Line is a very large retail beer, wine and liquor store that also has a 130 seat restaurant. Old Line is veteran owned. My son, Lawrence B. Pendleton, V, is a veteran of Iraq, having served in the USMC. I too, served as a Marine in the 1980's.
Our store is a former Circuit City building, so as you can imagine it is quite large, 23,000 square feet. The store is almost 3 years old and we built it out ourselves and it is a sparkling clean, orderly store. Our restaurant/bar has great food and we have been welcomed warmly by the community. The Lions Club, the Rotary Club, Greater Beltsville Community Association are all big supporters. This is not a college bar, we close at 10 pm, it is a place you can come for a business lunch, a dinner date or bring your family.
It takes a lot of people to keep the store and restaurant running smoothly and quite frankly, it is hard to find reliable help. At any given time, we need people who can be cashiers, stockers, data entry or purchase orders, salespersons on the floor (especially if you know much about or are interested in learning about our products) to people in can help with regular maintenace and cleaning of the retail store. In the resturant, we may need help in the kitchen, with regular cleaning and maintenance, bar tenders, servers and bus assistance.
As veterans, we gladly support veteran causes of many kinds from Wounded Warriors, to American Legion to DFW. We would like to have some mature veterans who wish to work in the retail store as cashiers and in sales in particular at this time. Part time is an option, there are many ways tomake this work.
