Insures proper handling of animals in
compliance with Smithfield HPD Loading Department SOP’s, AWMS, and PQA
Plus programs.
Maintains bio-security from farm-to-farm.
Maintains cleanliness of crew vehicles and
equipment.
Respects growers’ property and equipment.
Maintains good grower and driver
relations.

SUMMARY: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in duties concerned with the North Division loading department by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate performance of load crew leaders and loaders, makes personnel decisions regarding hiring, discipline, and termination.
Provide training and supervision to load crew employees. Conduct quarterly department meetings.
Provides leadership to establish a safe working environment and culture including safety audits, safety meetings, safety procedures and safety rules.
Coordinate load crew employees for best utilization of manpower.
Schedule repair and maintenance of loading crew vehicles. Monitor condition of trucks, drivers, and loading facilities.
Provide and monitor the use of necessary supplies. Process invoices to pay vendors.
Submit biweekly payroll and quarterly bonus for...
