Job Description Hands-on technical role that focuses on reporting & analytics to address business requirements and objectives related to dental provider networks. This position is responsible for (1) overall development, coordination, tracking, implementation, execution and completion of technical projects ; (2) collaborating with Provider Relations teams to evaluate technical solutions, automate processes and provide technical support to the teams; and (3) ensuring that established PR policies, procedures and best practices are consistently used within the team as well as a national basis. These projects, policies and reports will support the teams in expanding into new and existing markets as well as complying with State specific regulations. Manage and evaluate the team’s workload to ensure that goals and objectives are met at the department as well as organization level Develop production standards, including monitoring staff’s performance to ensure that goals and objectives are met Conduct interviews, hire new staff members, prepare training materials and schedule new hire orientations Work with Human Resources Department concerning employment matters including disciplinary actions as a result of performance issues Manage technical projects from design phase through final testing of reports, development or system enhancements. This includes but not limited to defining business requirements and objectives, scheduling project deliverables and working with respective areas to ensure deadlines are met, developing test scripts so all scenarios are thoroughly reviewed, and scheduling training with business areas before implementation. Oversee the Provider Relations Analysts and provide technical guidance in regards to developing new reports, implementing compliance requirements, automating processes and managing projects Review reports, analyze results and validate figures to ensure accuracy before distribution to clients, management or other departments Work with Provider Relations Analysts to develop programs using Access or Excel to automate provider recruitment tracking logs and various templates/reports so network managers can view results instantaneously and efficiently Education and/or Experience: 5+ years' experience in data analysis and reporting 2+ years' experience in healthcare-related data analysis preferred 3-5+ years of recent experience developing reports using Excel & Access VBA programming or equivalent Previous staff management experience required BA/BS degree preferred Experience in the IT industry as it relates to software configuration helpful Specific Skills/Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of MS SQL , Access, Excel, and Word (including SQL statements, v-lookups, etc.) Proficient in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming and database design Advanced query writing skills Demonstrated ability to manage Analysts and communicate effectively Knowledge of HSP or Meditrac useful Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence tools, such as SharePoint, SSIS, SSAS, PowerBI and advanced Excel functionality (e.g. Pivot Tables, PowerPivot, DAX, macros) preferred Knowledge of dental/healthcare provider networks and system setup a plus Proven ability to manage a team and respond effectively to challenging situations Ability to analyze and independently research technical issues, provide alternatives and recommend solutions Strong analytical skills for reporting and trend analysis Sponsorship and Relocation Specifications: LIBERTY Dental Plan is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
