The Spotter Driver position is responsible for moving trucks and trailers in and out of dock doors for loading and unloading.   

Individual should have knowledge of industrial controls, PLC’s, instrumentation, VFD’s, HMI’s and three phase motor circuits. This position requires the ability to operate, test, troubleshoot and repair process equipment.  Basic knowledge of General Maintenance and Mechanical components of manufacturing equipment are also required.  The associate must be able to work in a team environment, or individually with little or no supervision.  Must comply with all Company SAFETY rules (LOCKOUT/TAGOUT, ETC), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), and all Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations.     

Provides day to day maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe operating fleet at the lowest cost by performing the following duties. Maintains company owned light, medium, and heavy vehicles and trailers by reviewing shop orders, DVIR reports, or listening to operator description of problem. Makes repairs to mechanical failures by removing, replacing, assembling, and installing parts and components. Involves sheet metal, frames, suspensions, electrical, ignition, fuel, steering, hydraulic, and braking systems; heating and A/C units, axles, hubs, tires, wheels, and coupling units.

Responsible for the training and skill development of hourly new hire employees, including, but not limited to, the development of knife techniques to include sharpening and maintenance of sharpening tools.  Will work most of the time on the production floor coaching and assisting new employees in learning production jobs after they are hired and to assist with training on the job with employees have moved positions through the job bidding process.  On the Job trainers will be responsible for some job specific training that may include knife sharpening techniques, LOTO, Animal Handling, Floor Hyster Training and other job specific knowledge required for an employee to learn their assigned position with the company.  Will work with Supervision and Training Supervisor to ensure tracking documents are in place to best identify those needing additional training.

Responsible for arranging training for individuals or groups within a framework of available programs.  Advises employees and management on appropriate training courses. Makes arrangements for further education and monitors the progress of attendees.  Maintain accurate training records, monitor costs, and budget control of all training activities.

Responsible for supplying maintenance personnel with the correct tools, parts, components and information necessary to maintain and repair all physical plant equipment. This position maintains accurate supplier/vendor part descriptions and inventory balances.

Overall accountabilities are defined in this section.   The Electricial Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing electronic and electrical equipment and providing technical support to other team members when needed.    Preference will be given to candidates with a certification or degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance and/or related college or technical level course work.   This is a full time hourly position; all applicants should be willing to work all shifts (days/evenings/overnights), extended hours and weekends.

Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. Good carpentry skills. Must have experience in Carpentry, Building Interiors and Small Equipment. Must be able to work in 10 to 100 degree temperature.
